Terms of Service
1. Who you're contracting with
"Relay" is a trading name. The Platform is legally owned and operated by Mustafa Ahmad Alalawi Establishment, a sole proprietorship registered in Saudi Arabia (Commercial Registration No. 1010183482), based in Safwa 32827, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia ("Relay," "we," "us"). Any contract, invoice, or tax document (including ZATCA e-invoices) issued in connection with Relay will show this legal name, not "Relay." By using Relay, you acknowledge and accept this.
2. What Relay is
Relay is a WhatsApp-based AI booking and operations platform for Saudi small and medium businesses ("Merchants"), currently serving mobile car washing and auto repair / body shop businesses in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Relay's customer is the Merchant. Relay licenses the Merchant the use of its booking and communication technology; Relay does not itself provide car washing, auto repair, or any other service booked through the platform.
3. The relationship between Relay, the Merchant, and the end customer
- The Merchant is solely responsible for the service it delivers — its quality, timing, pricing, and any warranty or guarantee it offers.
- Relay is responsible for the booking and communication technology working as intended, and for handling data collected through it as described in our Privacy Policy.
- An end customer's contract for the service itself (the wash, the repair) is with the Merchant, not with Relay.
4. Payments
Payments for services booked through Relay are processed through the Merchant's own Moyasar payment account, in the Merchant's own name. Relay does not hold, process, or take custody of customer funds at any point, and is not a party to the payment transaction. Any payment dispute (a failed charge, a refund request) should be raised with the Merchant directly; Relay will assist in good faith where the underlying issue is a technical fault in the platform.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund policies for a booked service are set by the individual Merchant, not by Relay. Where a Merchant has communicated a specific cancellation policy through the platform, that policy governs. Relay is not responsible for a Merchant's decision to accept, decline, or charge for a cancellation.
6. Merchant portal accounts
Merchant staff sign in to the Relay merchant portal using a phone number and a one-time passcode. You are responsible for keeping access to your own phone number secure, and for any activity that happens under your account as a result of failing to do so.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Relay to send unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent messages, to misrepresent a business's identity, or to attempt to interfere with the platform's normal operation.
8. Availability
Relay is an actively developing platform. We aim for the service to be available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may need to pause or change features as the platform grows.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Saudi law, Relay's liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the fees actually paid by the Merchant to Relay in the three months preceding the claim. Relay is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business, except where such liability cannot be excluded under Saudi law.
10. Changes to the service or these terms
We may update these Terms as Relay grows or as our legal obligations change. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Relay after an update means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or use of Relay will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Saudi Arabia.
12. Contact
